Biography
Mark was born and raised in Richmond, British Columbia. He began directing in 1989 and formed his own theatre company, DSR Productions in 1990. He also works as a freelance Director and Technician. As well as directing for DSRP, Mark has also worked with many theatre companies in the lower mainland. Favourite credits include "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", "Cabaret", The Scandalous Adventures of Sir Toby Trollope", "Agnes of God", "Once Upon a Mattress", A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", "Steel Magnolia's", "1984" and "Bullshot Crummond" to name a few.
As an Actor, Mark has appeared in many productions including "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Evita", "Kiss Me Kate", "The Taming of the Shrew", "Wait Until Dark", "Extremities", "Tony N' Tina's Wedding" and "Dracula".
Mark is a member of IATSE local 118, and has worked as a Technician on such productions as "Les Miserables", "The Producers", "History Boys", "Next to Normal", "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story", "White Christmas", "Hairspray", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Singing in the Rain" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat".
